Do you have a proven track record of working in a Technical Helpdesk role for a Telecommunications company?
Do you possess 1st class customer service and communication skills?
Our client is currently looking for a Service Assurance Advisor.
As Service Assurance Advisor you will be required to provide a first class technical service to customers via telephone and electronic communication mechanisms.
You will be providing 2nd Line Technical/Customer Service by answering and logging help desk calls.
It will be your duty to take ownership of fault tickets, from initial report through to resolution and be accountable for the level of service provided to the customer.
Ideal candidates will have the following experience:
A technical and/or customer service background
Working with networking technologies (xDSL, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, DNS).
Providing technical support and service to customers in a telecommunications environment.
Working on a technical helpdesk within an ISP/NSP.
You will need to have:
Knowledge/understanding of telecommunications xDSL fault management processes.
Knowledge of the telecommunications and Internet industry in general.
In-depth knowledge of WAN technologies used within a commercial environment, specifically ADSL, ADSL2+, SDSL
Understanding of how xDSL works.
Passion for the telecommunications and technology industries
Dedication to providing the highest level of customer service
Working knowledge of DSL technologies and inter-networking
Self motivation, showing an ability to work using own initiative
This is a rotating shift-based role requiring candidates to have a flexible approach to the workplace
