Service Advisor

My client, a reputable Car Dealership Group, is looking to take on a Service Advisor to strengthen the existing team.

The Advisor will help to maximise the Service Departments profitability through the use of professional sales techniques, ensuring customer awareness of all available Workshop Services.

Key tasks of the Advisor are as follows:

Greet customers and visitors swiftly, courteously, and professionally.
Maximise all profit opportunities and ensure all bookings are processed in accordance with the workshop controller and resources available.
Record customer requirements, vehicle details and service histories accurately and effectively operate a customer follow-up system.
Update electronic vehicle health checks on the system
Manage and control use of dealer and manufacturer systems
Handle any customer issues calmly, bringing any disputes to the attention of the Service Manager
Authorise warranty repairs after inspection, or by agreement, in accordance with manufacturers and dealership policy

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Experience in the Retail Motor Industry
Knowledge and experience of vehicle parts
Experience within a similar customer facing role
Experience of working with administration procedures
Good verbal and written communications skills
Computer Literate
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
