Server Support Team Leader

My client, a rapidly expanding solutions provider seeks an individual with a background in providing 3rd Line support for Server based Infrastructure for the role of Server Support Team Leader.
Successful candidates will have experience managing a team coupled with experience supporting a broad range of server hardware and operating systems. Candidates should possess the ability to manage all incident, change and request queues to ensure SLA compliance across multiple technologies and service lines.
As expected with a role of this nature, candidates should be have strong problem solving skills, analytical skills and a passion for increasing knowledge whilst working within a busy customer focussed environment.
Candidates should be able to take ownership, diagnosis and resolution of complex faults and problems with both hardware and software in addition to liaising with 3rd party vendors for support escalations. In addition, candidates should be able to work with design teams on high and low level server designs for Data Centre and client based solutions.
Typically, candidates will have strong leadership / training / mentoring skills, strong operational skills and excellent client facing experience with good communication skills. Candidates should have solid working knowledge of current technologies / experience working within an ITIL environment with proven change and transition experience.
