Job Description
The role is one of mixed tax involving OMB business issues both corporate and non-corporate as well as personal and capital taxes issues. The successful candidate will have the ability to look at the bigger picture when advising clients and develop solutions that are not only technically robust but commercially sensible for the client.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to the role and the ability to explain problems and strategies to clients both orally and in writing.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop solid professional networks. There will also be heavy involvement in marketing and developing tax services in the Truro office and wider practice both in formulating as well as delivering marketing strategies.
Whilst based in the Truro office, there will be opportunity to work across the firm, subject to client needs and full support will be given from the wider tax practice.
There are excellent partnership prospects and for the right individual, direct partnership entry may be considered
Person Specification
ACA, ACCA and / or, CTA qualified, or equivalent, you will have a strong background gained within small, medium or large, accountancy firm environment, specialsing in taxation with a clear, career goal of achieving partner or director level, within a growing and highly regarded, successful firm of chartered accountants.
