Senior Residential Support Worker - March, Cambridgeshire

£17,990-£20,990 + Sleep-in allowance (£2,000-£3,000 pa)

We currently have a very exciting opportunity in March, Cambridgeshire. We are currently seeking to recruit professional and experienced senior residential support workers and you must have experience of working directly with young people.

Role:

To demonstrate and promote a high standard of childcare practice in accordance with The Children Act 1987 (2004), the National Minimum Standards and General Social Care Council guidance.

To be responsible for the health, safety and emotional well-being of the children.

To support the child's development under direction of the manager by contributing to the child's social well-being through care plans, and participating in its delivery as a member of a co-ordinated multidisciplinary team.

Skills required:

• Extensive knowledge within the Social Care Sector
• Able to work as a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ensure that all policies and procedures fully comply with the regulations

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 Working with Children and Young People
