Senior Reporting Manager, Bristol

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with Financial Services Industry experience to join a market leading company based in Bristol as the Senior Reporting Manager.

The Senior Reporting Manager is a highly visible role within the business with responsibility for managing the analysis of and of the main financial metrics for the UK life business, developing and delivering financial analysis for senior management, the executive and shareholders.

Managing a team of qualified accounting and actuarial staff across several locations you will take ownership for the analysis of the financial results for the life business by reporting entity and business unit, ensure the timely delivery of MI and reporting of financial results to the Board and shareholders on a monthly and quarterly basis, develop analysis for clearer comprehension of financial information to shareholders and external markets, project work, systems development and implementation of new reporting tool as necessary.

This opportunity requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a proven track record in the Financial Services Industry including the life insurance sector. You will possess strong technical skills, experience of financial analysis of complex financial results and financial reporting at Board level across a range of metrics including IFRS and MCEV. Superb communication skills are essential as this position will require you to liaise with key stakeholders and senior management across the business. You will have experience of managing accounting and/or actuarial staff. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand the bigger picture is also needed.

This employer is offering a highly competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000pa depending on experience plus, bonus, pension, car allowance, private medical and a flexible benefits package.  Skills development and career progression are actively supported and encouraged.
