My clients are a recruitment consultancy who specialise in Educational recruitment. Established in 2009, they provide long term and permanent placements and unlike other educational recruitment agencies, they do not provide placements shorter than 13 weeks. Placing fully screened candidates into roles within primary and secondary and teaching assistant roles, they have built a solid reputation for their provision of first class teaching personnel with paramount care to the environment of the clients. They are currently based in London but work throughout the UK with hundreds of schools. The demand for their services has lead to the success of the company and has brought about the need to expand the business locations to meet demands. They are now opening a new branch in Birmingham to start the new academic year to service the West Midlands more efficiently and are looking to recruit a Senior/Recruitment Consultant to begin the new leg of their journey with them.

You must be an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a background in educational recruitment. Previous experience of setting up a desk from inception would be beneficial, as although this is an exciting venture, a large proportion of hard work is essential to make it a success. You must be a strong business developer and will be capable of making connections through cold calling and networking to enhance the profile of a desk that will be a blank canvass. You will be a 360 Recruitment Consultant, capable of all aspects of the recruitment cycle with very little input from management. Able to work autonomously, you will manage your time efficiently and will maximise your daily output. Your communication skills will be refined and you will conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. As this is a new office, there are great opportunities to improve your career status and as the company continues to branch out you will be given every opportunity to grow.
