SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER – AUTOMOTIVE - OXFORDSHIRE

A superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality engineer to join a leading global 1st tier automotive manufacturer, supplying some of the world’s largest car manufacturers.
With high-volume production capabilities this dynamic organisation provides design-to-launch solutions providing technical solutions and products for the OEM’s. With facilities in over 30 countries, this organisation is the envy of many 1st tier suppliers across the automotive industry.
Due to an internal promotion and an increase in business we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer at our facility in Oxfordshire.
In the role of Senior Quality Engineer you will be the contact with the customer and be responsible for developing the relationship in place. You will act as the interface between the customer and the plant for raised quality concerns.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Quality Engineer within this role will be to:
- Ensure plant quality KPI’s are in line with customer KPI’s
- Ensure customer satisfaction through audits and defect follow-ups and apply action plans
- Realise 8D audits in relation to customer complaints
- Follow control plan updates and check against actual production periodically
- Supervise Production Quality engineers and technician in plant
- Assist the Quality Manager on any departmental and customer issues.
The successful Senior quality engineer must have significant experience within the Automotive industry. Our client is looking for an individual with strong communication skills and a personable approach as you will motivate and develop the team around you and lead them in ensuring the customer receives the correct quality components.
