Senior Quality Advisor for Children's Charity, Alton, Hants

An experienced senior Level 3 Playwork OR Childcare qualified candidate is required for a Quality Advisor position for a Young Families and Children charity based in Alton. 

The position involves working with the seniors of the charity's nurseries and afterschool clubs within Alton to ensure that staff are meeting Ofsted National Requirements for out of school childcare and overseeing the implementation of the Early Years Foundations Stage and Play work curriculum within each setting.

This is a part home based role and therefore requires a candidate that is highly organised and motivated. This position will also involve regularly visiting settings therefore requires someone that is able to travel around clubs in Alton. Applicants MUST be drivers with own car.

Key Responsibilities of this positions are as follows:

Creating a caring, safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.

Supporting all of the Charity's Out of School clubs within Alton, Hants.

Working alongside the play work team in each setting in understanding and implementing EYFS & Play work principles as well as supporting the teams in maintaining high standards.

Promoting to parents of children within the clubs an understanding on the EYFS and Play work principles.

Ensuring Health and Safety and Fire Regulation Standards are met.

Administrative tasks such as weekly and monthly reports, maintaining staff and child records, preparing information for local authorities and or Ofsted.

Day to Day management and staffing of of the out of school settings.

Essential Qualities:

Level 3 Play work OR Childcare Qualification WITH interest in becoming Play work qualified.

At least 1 Year's working experience within a supervisory role in a childcare setting following the EYFS Framework.

Experience leading a staff team.

35 hour week contract.
