Senior Property Accountant

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Accountant with a well respected financial institution.
In this business critical role you will manage a team of seven and have direct responsibility for managing the financial accounts of a commercial property investment portfolio totalling over £1bn.
Your key responsibilities will include:
-preparing monthly Investment and Capital Commitment Reports
-producing quarterly management and annual statutory accounts information for four property funds
-the provision of reports outlining the reliability of proposed new tenants for the organisations investment properties
-monitoring the aged debts of tenants and report any potential bad debts
-oversee the production of service charge budgets for managed properties, review and approve reconciliations
-review property VAT reports before submission to the Group Tax team
-maintain Training & Development plans for team members.

The ideal candidate will have:
-a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience (ACCA or CIMA) in Property Accounting.
-previous experience of supervising staff and motivating team members

-possess strong self motivational skills and the ability to remain commercially focused whilst achieving personal objectives.
