Senior Pricing Analyst

Pricing Analyst, Hampshire. £45-60k plus excellent benefits and bonuses.

Individual is required to develop and execute a pricing strategy for Personal Lines which will contribute to the profitable development and planned financial results.
Working closely with the Senior Underwriting Management Team, you'll contribute to the development and execution of the broader Underwriting strategy.
Providing leadership/guidance to the Actuarial/Pricing Team to ensure alignment and consistency between product lines, and to ensure Underwriting teams deliver high quality, market leading pricing.
Monitoring of Underwriting Performance.
Competitor price benchmarking.
Consideration and application (where necessary) of analysis and feedback from the business on Pricing decisions.
Develop, maintain and control the technical pricing of the Motor products.
Ensure technical pricing is targeted to achieve the key underwriting/financial metrics within the Business Plans.

You must have;
A detailed understanding and experience of using actuarial pricing tools and techniques (for example, Emblem, Rate Assessor and Classifier).
Significant experience in the interpretation of actuarial analysis and implementation into a business context.
A sound understanding of pricing and underwriting principles and experience of dealing with a wide range of technical issues.
A good working knowledge of the personal lines market, and key industry issues/challenges.
Experience in providing senior management with actuarial advice and direction.
Highly computer literate, able to use spreadsheets, databases and learn the use of new systems.
In-depth experience of Excel and Access.
Educated to a high level in mathematics/statistics or a business related subject.
ACII preferred.
