Senior Practitioner

Our client requires an experienced Social Worker to work within a referral and assessment and permanency teams in sandwell. The Ideal Social Worker will have at least 2 years post qualification experience within child protection working within duty and assessment or long term care management

• Children and families team
• Child care and looked after children
• Court work
• Managing own case load
• Child protection case conferences reports
• Child plans
• Identifying the needs of clients

This is a temporary position with immediate start for three months which may become ongoing for the right candidate. You must be a Qualified Social Worker with at least 2 years experience and will be asked to provide an Enhanced Disclosure (issued within the last 12 months)and also be registered with the GSCC.
