Senior Operations Manager

Our Internationally recognised client in South Liverpool is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Supervisor for its prestigous contract.

The primary purpose of the role will be to plan, coordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of a team, prividing effective communiation, leadership, motivation, training, safe working practices and development whilst providing the customer with world class performance in a highly unionised environment.

General Accountabilities:

• Team Management
• Customer Liaison
• Plan manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
• Direct the daily activity
• Deliver team member performance reviews, development, and/or succession planning as appropriate
• Facilitate effective communication
• Manage all grievance and disciplinary procedures
• Ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced

Previous experience within Manufacturing and Warehousing with the capability to demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills is essential.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate this. 

Experience in ANDON is preferred.

Hourly rate is £13.44 based on a 39 hour week and includes a 16% Shift Premium for days.  Some nights may be required so flexibility is essential.
