GEM Professional Services are currently working with one of their most prestigious clients based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with regards to the recruitment of a Senior On-Line Delivery Manager.

My client is seeking a Senior Practitioner with a detailed and successful on-line/web career who has strong experience of scoping, designing and strategically delivering large scale programmes of on-line work. This role is to work in a medium-large department where you will be solely responsible for delivering business critical strategy of their on-line web services.

My client is looking to move a proportion of their business on-line and they want to use Ruby on Rails as their first choice development language. This is not a pre-requisite but someone who has designed and delivered large scale on-line/ digital/ web strategies is definitely required.

This position is a Management Delivery role where leadership and strategic qualities are key to the success of this roadmap. You will be responsible with the leadership of Development and Test Team Leads and you will be required to work closely with divisional heads to make sure that the whole end-to-end process of the product development life cycle including defining project responsibilities for teams and project members is smooth and planned well. You will ensure detailed business analysis and the highest level of quality is achieved to meet my clients customers needs.

This organisation is an advocate for Agile therefore we would be seeking individuals who have experience of delivering programmes of work in an Agile environment. You will be required to make business critical decisions and motivate teams for the overall end goal of on-line success.
