Searchability is proud to be working in relation with this leader in web application development for a Senior .Net Developer role, based within their growing Sheffield offices. They are seeking passionate candidates with first-rate ASP.Net and C# knowledge, together with a background in working with MVC.Net to assist with the production of web applications and develop top of the range systems. The chosen applicant will be able to demonstrate substantial experience in building web applications using ASP.Net, C#, MVC.Net, SQL Server, HTML and JavaScript. The chosen Developer will drive the adoption of new technologies and techniques so will also have knowledge in NHibernate, SimpleData, Razor, IIS and Umbraco.

The Role.

A challenging role, the desired candidate will use their ASP.Net and C# knowledge to develop high quality and complex driven systems and work closely with the other developers within the team to produce impressive applications. With at least 5 years commercial experience behind you, you will be passionate about software and web development, and use your ASP.Net, C# and MVC.Net experience to bring new ideas and solutions to the team. The Senior .Net Developer will take a hands-on approach to the development and application of exciting new projects, so the ideal applicant will be creative in order to succeed within this role. This position would suit for a candidate with substantial experience of ASP.Net, C# and MVC.Net, together with an excellent understanding of languages such as HTML, SQL Server, JavaScript, NHibernate, Razor and IIS. You will be heavily involved in building web applications within the dynamic team, taking the lead to drive the adoption of new technologies, using your impressive ASP.Net, C# and MVC.Net expertise.

The Skills.

• Superior knowledge of ASP.Net, C# and MVC.Net
• Experience of NHibernate, SimpleData, Castle IOC and Ninject
• Exposure to Razor, SQL Server 2000 - 2008
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML (5) , NUnit, IIS and Umbraco
