SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERS

CONTRACT

We currently have a fantastic job opportunity for a number of Senior Mechanical Engineers to join a leading engineering company who design and manufacture specialist machines and automation equipment for high technology industries.

The Senior Mechanical Engineers will be responsible for producing design studies and manufacturing designs for specialist projects.

You will form part of a multi-disciplined engineering team and will be responsible for undertaking the design of specialist equipment for Nuclear industry.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in design for manufacturing
• Experience in design of gloveboxes and associated equipment
• Knowledge of machine safety directives
• Knowldege of pneumatic and hydraulic principles
• Materials and mechanical handling techniques
• Able to produce technical reports and documentation

Candidates will have a good knowledge of drawing principles and standards as well as an understanding of CE marking and CDM regulation.

Any nuclear industry experience is advantageous.

Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be a British National and will be required to obtain security clearance (BC level).
