Senior Law Costs Draftsperson
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Costs Draftsperson to join their Costs team in Birmingham. They are a Legal 500 law firm and the successful candidate will negotiate a range of cases and cost analysis work upto £100,000 in value. The successful candidate will join a thriving team environment and receive an excellent renumeration package, drafting bills and schedules of costs.
Responsibilities
Claimant and defendant cases
Settlement negotiation and formulating offers
Civil Litigation claims
Schedules of costs
Dealing with court applications
It would be advantageous to have experience in Advocacy
Skills
Costs experience is essential
Solid technical background
Good negotiating skills
Strong with figures
Ability to work as part of a large team
Experience of a broad range of costs analysis work
Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and work on competing priorities
