SENIOR L&D MANAGER

Our client, based in Worcestershire, is looking for a Senior L&D Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate MUST have a CIPD qualification (or equivalent) and have previous experience in leadership training. Duties will include:

* Implementing strategies for the effective delivery of leadership, management and business skills training in line with business needs, internal standards and regulatory requirements

* Managing the provision of an effective consultancy and partnering service to key senior business stakeholders and external suppliers

* Delivering a blended learning solution to ensure that learning solutions are cost effective

* Designing evaluation methods to ensure innovative, cost effective and good practice learning

* Developing interventions to support business-wide change programmes

* Handling the recruitment, performance management and development of staff, making sure a skilled workforce are available to meet business needs and regulatory standards at all times

* Coaching, mentoring, testing and observing learning solutions to ensure that they are successful

* Planning, managing and implementing special programmes and projects including significant business-wide change programmes

* Supporting change management in support of the group activities

* Identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and offering suitable suggestions

* Supervising a team of trainers (between 6 and 10 direct reports) , ensuring that all HR issues are escalated and resolved

Previous experience of working within a Senior L&D Management role is ESSENTIAL! The role is full time, is offering a salary of £39,870 and is due to start ASAP. The ideal candidate MUST have a full, clean driving license as the role will involve regular travel across the U.K.
