Job Description
Our client is a product based company located in NY metro working on some of the most in-demand & emerging technologies in the IT industry; where mobile development, product engineering and security solutions get designed and implemented. They are primarily a JEE technology stack company working with very high end and cutting edge technologies like Hadoop, Scala, GTW etc.
Our client is changing the way critical enterprise applications perform; by providing end to end managed services, application development, enterprise architecture and integration solutions.
They are looking to hire strong Senior Java Engineers to create complex, enterprise-transforming business applications as a member of diverse, high energy teams focused on full life-cycle development through the use of TDD & Agile Methodologies.
The roles would entail evaluating and implementing solutions using architectures, technologies and platforms such as SOA, MoM, BPM, JEE, Web 2.0, Databases and various open source frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Jboss etc. Many of our engineers are also working developing high volume systems using HADOOP, Cassandra, Mapreduce etc. We are also exploring Scala for our new projects

Must have’s:
? 5+ year’s delivery experience on a commercial application development project including integration with 3rd party applications.
? Experience including analysis, design, coding and implementation of large scale custom built object-oriented applications.
? Strong OO design knowledge, including extensive design patterns knowledge
? Working on open source technologies like Spring, Hibernate, JPA etc.
? Familiarity with relational databases like- Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL or SQL Server
? Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming - XP and Scrum or RUP.
? Experience of using UNIX.
? Experience on Front end technologies like JQuery, JavaScript, GWT, AJAX, JSF is preferable
? Experience in application server clustering, performance tuning and scalability testing
? Extensive experience working with WebLogic, Websphere or JBoss application servers
Like to have:
? Messaging Middleware- HornetQ, RabbitMQ
? Databases- NoSQL ,Hbase, MongoDB, Redis
