These are high-performance, distributed data analysis and enrichment systems, using core Java and Oracle technologies
You will need to demonstrate:
Quick understanding of functional requirements and translation into technical designs
Strong technical and team-working skills, acting as a Generalizing Specialist
Self motivated approach, looking to take responsibility for application design and implementation
Ability to work as a member of a self-organizing team
A readiness to learn and help others learn
Requirements
- Strong J2SE experience
- Object Oriented design
- Multithreaded applications
- Multi-tiered, distributed applications
- Spring, Hibernate, JUnit (or equivalents technologies)
- Unix or Linux
- SQL and a RDBMS ideally Oracle.
Desireable
- Messaging technologies (Tibvo RV, Tibco EMS)
- XML
- Tomcat & web services
