SENIOR IT OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are a medium sized company based in Milton Keynes expanding in to Laptop, Monitor and TV LCD Panels and product support, service and repair sector in cohesion with our EU based sister companies. We now seek a suitably qualified person join our team and to take over the above challenging role.

The successful applicant will have five years relevant IT experience with an appropriate IT based degree level academic qualification at the minimum. He/she will be responsible for the planning, implementation and maintenance of a common IT platform between all sister companies, ensuring harmonisation between existing individual IT infrastructures and individual needs of the venture partners. As our sister companies are based out of the UK, extensive travelling may be involved. Other duties will include advising management (UK and EU wide) regarding the IT infrastructure as and when required.

The applicant must have essential knowledge of Java, JSP, Javascript, VBscript, Tomcat, Visual Basic, Power Builder, ER-WIN, Power Designer, Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems, and also be experienced in Management Information System, Database Design, Database Tuning, and Server Management. Fluency in Korean and an empathy with Korean corporate ethos would be considered an advantage.
