Senior Internal Auditor

This leading financial services organisation is looking to recruit a high calibre auditor. In this role you will lead independent reviews of the effectiveness of controls across the business, reporting on areas of deficiency and making recommendations where required. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with three or more years external/internal audit experience and preferably some experience of working within the financial services industry. Consideration will also be given to candidates who are IIA qualified, provided they are knowledgeable of current financial reporting standards. To succeed in this role you will be an excellent communicator and have the skills to influence senior management. Even though this position does not come with direct line management responsibilities you will frequently act in a supervisory capacity and therefore the ability to lead a team is also sought.
