Senior Internal Auditor - FTSE 100

Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a FTSE 100 Company based in Hertfordshire. Our client is a market leader offers excellent opportunities for career progression after a couple of years in Internal Audit.

Reporting into the Group Head of Internal Audit, the main purpose is to provide an audit service to the group, focusing on control of financial risk, reviewing controls and management information in order to assess their adequacy, as well as carrying out ad hoc projects on request.

Other key duties are to plan, organise and conduct audits to ensure that financial policies, systems and controls are uniformly applied in assigned areas, and that improvements are identifies and pursued. You will also prepare reports of findings to include recommendations on improved controls and operational efficiency and agree these with local management.

The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy qualification, (ACA, ACCA) and have strong audit experience, ideally gained within a top tier practice or a large internal audit function. Good interpersonal skills are essential, in conjunction with strong analytical, presentational and communication skills. There would be international travel within this role.
