Based in the City, my client is looking for a HR professional to support the growth and development of their business for an initial 6 month maternity cover.

Reporting to the Head of HR and working alongside the HR Advisor and Assistant you will play a key role in assisting with the review, shaping and implementation of the HR delivery service to meet business needs.

Key duties will include:

Review and make recommendations to improve HR Processes including identifying opportunities for improvement in resourcing, reward, learning and development people management.

To provide professional advice and support to managers in interpreting HR Policies and procedures specifically in relation to disciplinary, grievance and performance management process

Work with the Head of HR/Business Heads on change management programmes identifying and researching efficiencies.

Assist with the salary review process, co-ordinating and managing the distribution of the associated paperwork.

Review and monitor HR trends across the service groups and provide MI reports on key performance indicators: absence, turnover, retention

You will need to have a strong generalist delivery and implementation background and ideally be CIPD qualified.
As you will need to hit the ground running, you will also need to be an experienced HR individual who is able to adapt and learn company processes and policies quickly and enjoy the balance of day to day HR with ongoing project work.

Ideally you will have the following skill set:

Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation coupled with the ability to apply this commercially and operationally.
Demonstrable high levels of organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to influence and motivate people building relationships and managing key stakeholders.
Possess a can do positive attitude and approach to problem solving.
Excellent technical skills including Excel and previous use of HR Systems.

You will be joining a small team, working in an open planned environment so the ability to be flexible with your time and your workload is essential.
