Internationally recognised for their design effort in delivering underground infrastructure projects, this reputable consultant is recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Manager to be based in Singapore for their regional projects.
Job Description
The Senior Manager will be in charge of the Geotechnical and Tunnel Engineering Division. He will be leading project teams and carry out design and project management services involving geotechnical engineering for tunnels and underground structures.
Person Specification
He should be a qualified Professional Engineer (Civil) in Singapore and also preferably with Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) qualification. He must be competent in the design and project management of geotechnical, tunnelling and underground structures involving temporary earth retaining structures for deep excavations, bored tunnels and mined tunnels. He should also have extensive experience and capability in the design of shallow and deep foundations, ground improvement and slope stabilisation works. He should be familiar in soil investigation, geotechnical interpretation, as well as geotechnical instrumentation monitoring and interpretation. Experience in seismic analysis would be an advantage. Good command in written and spoken English are necessary.
The Manager’s function is similar to the above. He is expected to provide support and assistance to the Senior Manager in handling the day-to-day management issues of the Division as well as in managing and ensuring that projects are executed competently, properly and timely. Candidates with lesser years of experience will be considered for this position.
