An award winning ground engineering specialist is currently looking to recruit a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join them in their North Lanarkshire offices. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to join one of the UK's leading geotechnical specialists and to work on a wide range of projects across Scotland.
For this position we would be looking for a candidate with over 5 years experience within contaminated land site investigation. You will be qualified to degree level in an Environmental or Geological discipline and will (ideally) have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant geo-environmental subject. You will need to have a full driving license for this position, in order to travel to sites and meetings around Scotland (and occasionally further afield).
As a Senior Consultant your responsibilities will include:
*Supervising contaminated land site investigations.
*Writing factual and interpretive geo-environmental reports, including detailed risk assessments.
*Liaising with clients.
*Mentoring junior team members.
*Assisting with the financial management of the land quality team.
