Organisation Description

Our client a leader in its industry is due to their expansion seeking a talented Senior Fund Administrator (Private Equity) for their branch in Guernsey.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

? Promote and support the team and the person you would be reporting to
? Assist with the day to day work and training of Administrators.
? Assist with overseeing quality and control and meeting time deadlines.
? Assist with the preparation of briefing papers, ensuring the smooth running of the sections board meetings, etc
? Attend board meetings; assist with taking of minutes and presentation of reports.
? Assist with the smooth running of the Investment, and Call and Distribution process.
? Attend internal meetings
? Assist the Accounts Team with the production of management, interim and audited accounts
? Bookkeeping and review ledgers on a regular basis.
? Assist with co-ordination and maintenance of client group relationships at an operational level.
? Regular communication with the clients and ensuring all requests are responded to in a timely fashion.
? Communicate any client related issues of concern to the relevant appointed person
? Liaison between the Administrators, Signatories and the Director
? Legal framework

? Manage workloads to ensure that the Company’s required minimum chargeability is maintained
? During your development you would be developing a sound understanding of all applicable laws, regulations and rules associated with business activities.

Person Specification

Requirements:

? Supervisory and very good banking experience with an in depth knowledge of payments, swift, etc..
? double entry bookkeeping knowledge would be an advantage
? excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets & Microsoft Word
? Financial diploma/degree ( such as: IDFA, CAT, AAT, ICSA, ACCA - ICSA, IFS or CIMA..)
? you should possess the following: ability to work under pressure, confident manner, flexible approach, good time management skills and demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills towards less experienced staff.
? general knowledge of banking systems
