Senior Financial Accountant

Based in Bury St Edmunds, our client is a leading professional services business and they are seeking to recruit an experienced qualified accountant in a newly created position.

Following a period of unprecedented growth and expansion this role will work as part of the senior finance team. The duties will support the finance team in all aspects of the monthly and year end financial process as well as working closely with the FD on strategic issues and continued acquisitions. The positions has elements of technical accounting alongside broader commercial business partnering responsibilities.

The business are keen to attract a qualified accountant with strong interpersonal skills and a commercial outlook. They are happy to consider applicants straight from practice or industry, it is essential that you have a good technical understanding of financial accounting as well as good IT skills.
