Senior Finance Manager

An international media company is currently looking for a qualified Senior Finance Manager to join a very high calibre team. This is a fast paced role which requires exemplary presentation and communication skills to succeed. Responsibilities:

• Assisting with period end accounting for various companies, running P&L’s for Media & reviewing the results
• Quarterly & yearly reporting packs
• Weekly & yearly cash forecasts
• Reviewing weekly payment runs
• Preparation and submission of stat accounts
• Responsible for period end accounting closes for a range of properties
• Assisting with monthly preparation of management accounts and collating commentary/analysis/statistics for both group finance and company directors;
• Ad-hoc project work as required within Media companies.
• Assisting with client distribution statements
• Liaison with group accounts payable function to ensure all company payments are made on a timely basis.

The successful candidate will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with good knowledge of UK and US GAAP. This role will work with commercial staff across the organisation, strong communication skills are essential. Experience within the media industry is preferable.
