Senior Environmental Acoustic Consultant: Manchester KP 2500 £28,000+
A leading multinational engineering consultancy, providing multidisciplinary services on a global scale, is now looking to bring an experienced and driven Senior Acoustic Consultant to their specialist acoustic team in Manchester.
Our client holds a strong and varied project and client base, and provides expertise in an assortment of sectors, including; renewable energy, land and property development, mining and minerals, waste, and infrastructure.
Ideal applicants will have an absolute minimum of five years experience within the acoustics sector, with a focus on environmental acoustics. They will also have BSc and/or MSc in Acoustics or a related discipline, and Full or Associate IoA Membership. Candidates are also expected to hold a full UK/EU driving licence.
Experience should include a proven record working with project and team management, strong working knowledge of current UK industry standards, policy and legislation, such as BS4142, with any experience with Acoustic modelling (preferably CadnaA) being highly advantageous.
The chosen candidate will be joining a successful team composed of both air quality and acoustic consultants; consequently, any experience within the air quality sector would be favourable.
