Senior Electrical Design Engineer

An employee-owned management, engineering and development consultancy serving the public and private sector are currently looking to grow their established Building Services team with a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in their Cambridge office.

This national company are engaged in public and private sector development across a broad range of markets, including education, health and leisure.

This vacancy has arisen due to a rise in workload within their Building Services, M&E team, carrying out design work on high value new build projects. You will be required to:
· Carry out the design on a variety of projects.
· Overseeing a team of junior engineers ensuring all the projects are being completed within specification and within timescales.
· Attending all client meetings.
· Troubleshooting.
· Assisting in producing fee proposals.

The ideal applicant should have the following skills and experience:
· Previous experience of a Electrical Design role within a consultancy or contractor environment.
· Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
· Ideally chartered although this is not essential.
· Experienced in wide variety of Electrical works.
· Team player who is able to work within the existing team.
· Must be eligible to work in the UK and must already be residing in the UK.
