Senior Ecologist - Glasgow, Scotland.

Our client is an internationally recognised environmental and engineering consultancy which provides a range of services across the globe for clients both in the public and private sector. With a highly qualified team of ecologists, they are well placed to provide a full range of ecological services, including flora and fauna surveys, mitigation schemes and EIA.

Due to an increase in workload, the company are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join their team based in Scotland.

Academic Qualifications - Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold relevant qualifications including BSc/ MSc in Ecology/ Zoology/ Biology or an Environmental Science.

Professional Qualifications - Candidates should possess full IEEM membership and ideally hold at least one protected species license e.g. Bat, GCN, etc.

Salary - £25,000 to £32,000 (Depending on relevant experience and skills).

Responsibilities
1.Taking a lead role in the management of key ecological frameworks in Scotland
2.Identifying and procuring new ecological business for the team with new and existing clients
3.Management of junior members of staff, developing their technical and commercial skills
4.Prepare and submit quotes and proposals for new and existing clients
5.Lead a team of talented ecologists, making sure projects are completed to a high standard
6.Deliver a high level of ecological consultancy on a range of projects across Scotland
