Key Responsibilities:
Hardware design specifcation
Circuit Design and socumentation
EMC and metering accuracy testing
liason with key suppliers
supervision of out-sourced activities (eg PCB manufacture)
Development of hardward design techniques and selection of tools
Liaison with project team leaders and planning, timescales etc.
Essentials:
5 years experience of analogue/digital electronics design
3 years experience of microcontroller based products
2 years switched mode power supply design
1 year design for EMC approvals
Circuit simulation techniques (Spice)
