Searchability is delighted to be working in partnership with one of the UK's leading development organisations within their field, in their search for a highly knowledgeable .Net Developer, based at their expanding Liverpool offices. They are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years experience in software development in Net and C#, together with at least 2 years experience as a lead analyst or developer, with substantial knowledge of the complete development lifecycle, including a sound knowledge of the .Net framework, SQL Server and JavaScript. The chosen Developer will have excellent knowledge of web-development or web-content management, alongside a solid understanding of C# or VB.Net, SQL Server and ASP.Net. A varied position, you will use your impressive background in software development to ensure that the company continues to deliver the exceptional service that has warranted their well-renowned reputation.

The Role.

This role would be ideal for a highly knowledgeable .Net Developer with a promising Software/Web development background, in succession with a keen understanding of the .Net Framework, in particular .Net 1 and 2, C# (or VB.Net) and SQL Server. A varied role, the chosen .Net Developer will be responsible for programming and architecturing solutions, assisting and documenting business requirements for the company whilst successfully liaising within the development team. Utilising your substantial .Net Development skills, you will become a key member of the development team, utilising your knowledge experience of software development together with your impressive ASP/VB.Net knowledge to contribute and implement the full development lifecycle. The .Net Developer will have the ability to work within small multi-skilled teams and effectively communicate technical aspects to the rest of the team.

The Skills.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in software development
• Minimum of 2 years web development or web content management experience
• Highly competent in the .Net framework, including C# (or VB.Net), together with ASP.Net
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, WCF Services and SOAP/RESTful web services
