Senior Commercial/Corporate Account Handler

The Job/Duties

This is a busy position, handling new and existing commercial business. Your will be dealing with premiums ranging from £30,000 to £750,000.
You would be expected to handle telephonic, e-mail and faxed enquiries from new and existing customers and assist Account Executives in their duties. This would entail dealing with clients in keeping with FSA guidelines, obtaining risk information, preparing risk presentations for submission to Insurers and underwriters, as well as the handling of claims. The applicant should be focused on maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure client retention and securing new business in conjunction with Account Executives. The candidate will be expected to handle instructions from existing clients as well as deal with renewals, MTA  etc. The role also involves data capture, underwriting, production of policy documentation and written correspondence with clients and insurers. The candidate must be able to work to a high FSA standard without daily supervision.

The Person

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Commercial/Corporate broking experience. You will be confident and have good written and oral skills and be able to work within a strong broking team. You will have the ability to build good relationships with both clients and Insurers/underwriters. You will have a sound knowledge of the FSA requirements within a broking role.

Professional Qualifications

Progress towards your ACII is expected although not essential. Our client is prepared to fund this qualification.
