Job Title - Senior Corporate Claims Technician / Team Leader

Location - Stratford-Upon-Avon

Salary - up to £35,000 & excellent benefits!  

HR Consultancy is currently looking for experienced Senior Corporate Claims Technician / Team Leader to join a leading and well-respected Insurer.

Role:

As part of the group corporate business specialist team you will be handling the insurance requirements of large corporate clients. You will also act as the most senior technical referral point within the department.

Responsibilities will include:

• Be the final technical referral and escalation point within GCB according to own technical specialism
• Liaise with Head Office Claims and panel solicitors on complex cases as appropriate
• Facilitate and implement technical training, coaching and mentoring of staff
• Co-ordinate quality audits and influence quality control standards
• Maintain and develop positive working relationships, and provide technical support and assistance to GCB Claims and Underwriting colleagues
• Attend client review meetings to discuss their individual claims, claims trends, and handling procedures.
• Contribute to the development of GCB’s service offering and claims best practice, such as counter fraud, rehabilitation and claims investigation strategies

Required Experience:

You will have experience of handling complex commercial and/or personal injury claims with a high level of authority and have the ability to demonstrate and apply a high level of technical claims knowledge. You will also have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to train, coach and develop staff.

ACII / Advanced Diploma in Insurance (or progressing towards) is desirable.
