Our client, an IT managed services provider, is actively looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to cover North East England.

Role: Senior Business Development Manager

Salary: up to £50,000 per annum + commission (OTE £110kpa, uncapped)

Location: Covering North East England

Summary of Role:

Meet sales targets from new client acquisition selling them our products and services.Maximise sales through understanding the needs of our customers and matching it to the services which we can provide, utilising the skills and knowledge of colleagues where necessary.Support other departments wherever necessary to ensure that our Customers receive the best Customer Service possible.

You will primarily be selling Data Centre, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity and Cloud solutions. These will mostly be large tenders to public sector and corporate clients.

  • Generate leads, grow pipelines and maximise every sales opportunity

  • Manage the needs of our Customer and the sales process to completion, taking ownership of Customer’s sales issues to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner

  • Use in-house systems to record and report on success

  • Experience with Public Sector and/or Corporate bids is beneficial

Required:

  • Own car and full driving licence
