Senior Business Analyst

An opportunity to join a Top Tier Investment Bank on a large scale project as a Business Analyst. This involves working across multi disciplinary teams, including Finance, IT, Middle Office, and Risk & Operations.

The purpose of the overall global project is to improve data quality and processes to reduce financial reporting operating risk. It will also provide transparency on the month end financial reporting process through clear metrics on financial reporting operating risk and timing.

You will be suitable for this role if you are a Qualified Accountant who understands the Project life cycle and has relevant experience from Investment Banking. The responsibilities cover:

- Perform reconciliations for various systems.
- Reviewing any exceptions raised in reports by the team
- Stakeholder management specific to the Product, i.e. Futures and Options
- Responsible for ensuring the appropriate levels of controls are being performed across the Product specific flows
- Facilitates business growth and reorganisation.
- Work to ensure process standardisation across global product reporting.

You will need to be a Qualified Accountant with knowledge of products that ideally include Debt Securities, FX Cash and Derivatives, Equities, Commodities, OTC Derivatives, Futures & Options, and Loans.

It is essential you have experience in reviewing daily reconciliations for material and aged breaks and daily, weekly and monthly review of control/suspense accounts. You must have also shown you've documented accounting service functions with workflows and maintenance of workflows
