Job Description
This will be a senior pivotal role reporting to the Asia Head of Audit and will require you to assist them to determine the annual audit plans including the definition and scope. You will need to execute the audit plan to ensure that business operations are effectively and efficiently controlled and your experience will be utilized to serve as a senior departmental resource on audit strategy. Communication skills will be essential as you liase regularly with the business and auditors on a regional and global basis.
To be considered you will need to have at least 10 years experience within financial services in an audit or related role. Ideally in addition to commercial experience you will also have worked in a big four firm. You will need to have a strong practical product knowledge of financial services products, asset management would be an advantage. You will need to have worked in Asia Pacific region before so you are familiar with the regulatory environment. Outstanding communication skills will be essential both verbally and written along with the ability to build relationships at all levels and present and justify independent views to senior management.
