The Company:

This opportunity benefits from your own parking space right next to the office. From there, a large reception area leads through to an impressive interior of this City centre building. The staff are very welcoming and there is a nice atmosphere in the office. You will be based in a large open-plan office with colleagues from Trainee to Partner level.

This substantial, multi-sited practice acts on behalf of many of the largest family-owned business in Kent and Sussex and enjoys a consistently busy workload from corporate and personal clients. They are a general practice with a diverse range of clients and have also developed expertise within UK subsidiaries, law firms, pensions, charities and more.

Unlike some of their competitors, they still retain a thriving audit client-base. The majority of their clients come through referrals, often resulting from relationships established over tens of years.

The Role:

The Partner’s are looking for staff at two levels at present, both Senior and Semi Senior. At both levels, previous or current practice experience is essential. Preferably the successful candidate will have determination and amiable personal skills with which to impress both clients and colleagues particularly as their experience develops and more and more client interaction is required.

The work across accountancy, taxation and audit is shared amongst the team, playing to individuals strengths and giving more of the work an individual enjoys wherever possible. Full study support will be offered for those who are either part qualified or wishing to progress from AAT, ACA or ACCA with a view to further study.

The Candidate:

Qualifications are not as important as experience for this role. You need to have a solid foundation of experience within practice and be keen to continue in a professional practice environment for the foreseeable future.
