As a Senior Actuarial Technician - working across 4 funds - you’ll be responsible for providing the necessary support for the With-Profits Actuaries to carry out their duties. This will involve:

• Helping monitor and maintain standards in respect of Treating Customers Fairly, whilst ensuring compliance with the Principles and Practices of Financial Management (PPFM).
• Assisting in reviewing systems, calculations and processes used by the With-Profits management team to determine bonus rates, MVR recommendations and exit values
• Providing cover for seconded team members and responding to a variety of queries from our With-Profits policyholders

Capable of building on and growing your existing actuarial career to date, you must have:

• Already completed most or all of the CT Series of actuarial exams and ideally be able to demonstrate some relevant exposure in a Life and Pensions business.
• A good degree of technical know-how and actuarial knowledge, along with fair level of commercial awareness and proven analytical ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus a fair level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of Excel
