Organisation Description
Reed Education is looking for a Science teacher in Glastonbury on behalf of a PRU that is dedicated to improve the education of pupils who have been away or excluded from mainstream education due to the complex emotional and behavioural difficulties that they are facing.
Job Description
Applicants should be prepared to teach the subject throughout the school across KS4 mainly as well as other stages.
The hours of work will be part-time with the possibility to increase depending on the circumstances. It will involve working Monday and Tuesdays mornings. However, it might be negotiable. Start date will be around 21st February, up to July 2012
Person Specification
The succesful candidate for this Science teacher role should be looking to further their experience in teaching KS4 pupils in an SEN setting.
The successful candidate will be a team player and an excellent classroom teacher.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau and references.
