Scheme Underwriter

Our client is a leader in their specialist field of niche insurance. The role will involve underwriting and pricing of the product and monitoring its performance/premiums against any ongoing claims. Negotiating renewal terms, reviewing frequency and nature of claims submitted and discussing points of referral with Account Managers and clients direct. Clients can range from major high street retailers to smaller independent companies.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience within a scheme based environment, either insurance company or broker with delegated underwriting authority. Progression towards ACII qualification would be an advantage. The company are seeking a proactive individual, educated to a good standard with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join the growing team.
