Job Description
The Finance Project Organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to be based in Singapore to support the re-engineering of our worldwide Finance systems. This role focuses on China region. Qualified Candidate will have experience/background in a MNC Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) environment and will be responsible for managing cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to define, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, reduce cost, improve customer satisfaction, and drive consistent global processes.
Person Specification
? Minimum 12-15 years of experience in MNC High Tech or Consumer Business industry and/or consulting firms with extensive exposure to finance systems.
? Verbal and reading/written proficiency in English and Mandarin required due to the work coverage on China region.
? Proven track record of leading strategic projects combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks.
? Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including experience in managing medium (6-8 month) to large (8-12 month) projects.
? Proven knowledge of financial systems and infrastructure, direct operational or technical experience preferred.
? Background in SAP FI and SD modules.
? Knowledge of system development lifecycle.
? Proficient in business process flow diagramming.
? Proven experience as a change agent having effectively implemented change in large cross functional organization.
? Knowledge of industry best practices, third-party providers, and technologies.
? Experience working on and leading worldwide project teams located in different parts of the globe, being sensitive to local customs and practices.
? Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills along with a strong attention to detail.
? Ability to work with ambiguity with minimal supervision.
? Self-motivated, driven, and proven professional who is comfortable working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment.
