About the Job

The SAP Competence Centre Lead will be responsible for the overall SAP implementation and service provision for the European business. Development of a roadmap and support of the European businesses in reaching their goals.


The SAP Competence Centre Lead will proactively build bridges with the European business communities and stakeholders; thereby ensuring the success of the SAP. Management of the full range of SAP implementation and support services is also involved.

About the Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall functional SAP strategy for the European business.
  • Drive effective functional design and delivery.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and Process Lead
  • Motivate multi-skilled projects teams, locally and remotely.
  • Develop and maintain the blueprinting process and ensure compliance with the European template
  • Create effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, business partners and contracted parties.

About You

  • Proven SAP implementation and functional experience as an Architect or similar senior role
  • Ideally Certified in SAP, or related SAP education & accreditations. Prince2 an advantage.
  • Knowledge of multiple SAP module’s & related Information Technology concepts in general
  • Ideally, detailed experience in more than one process area and the related SAP modules including but not limited to: BI/BW, CRM, FI/CO, SD, MM.
  • Highly level ability to manage multiple processes and projects in an SAP and ITIL environment
  • Ability to operate at a high level within a multi-national corporate organisation, run workshops, present business cases to stakeholders and gather requirements.
  • Previous consulting experience a plus
