Sales Manager, Chromatography Products- Food/Clinical Testing

Truly unique opportunity for a seasoned Chromatographer and Team Leader experienced in either the food safety or clinical testing industries! 

Based in California, you will be managing a team of product specialists promoting a range of chromatography consumables into the food and clinical testing markets. You will travel internationally, predominantly visiting customers throughout the US and Europe. This is a 'hands-on’ managerial position where you will both be directly involved in and coordinate the team to deepen existing relationships, increasing customer share, and prospect for new business opportunities. The scope of the role spans from initial market research and strategic planning through to product release and post-sales support.

Applicants must have a strong background in chromatography, either HPLC or GC, along with an excellent understanding of sample extraction techniques. You must have experience working within either food or clinical sample analysis, and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of this industry. Previous managerial experience is essential; you must be able to coordinate and motivate a team, leading from the front.

Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as is the flexibility to travel c.30% of the time.
