Working for a large global organisation based near to Basildon. You will be part of a team of 5 in credit control and sales ledger. It is a fairly fasted paced environment with a 'work hard play hard’ culture.
Job details
• Responsible for raising sales invoices
• Check invoice address, delivery address and purchase order number is as per customer purchase order
• Extracting data from the system and attaching completed documentation
• Check correct sales person, currency and VAT rate has been applied to sales order
• Email invoices to customer along with the purchase order it relates to
• Month-end revenue accruals and liaison with Project Managers
• Time and materials billing on projects
• Assistance with intercompany reconciliations process.
• Resolution of queries on invoices raised
• Liaison with all levels of personnel within the business and liaison with customers over the telephone and by email.
• Assistance with maintenance of sales ledger
• Other ad-hoc finance duties as required
Required skills and experience
• Sales ledger experience or at least a years accounting experience
• Good excel skills
• Prepared to work longer hours at month end
• Good oral and written communication skills combined with an ability to utilise at all levels.
37.5 hours (8.30 - 5pm), 25 days holiday, pension, study support
