Sales Consultant - Photography Industry (Home Based)
Home/Field Based (covering the M62 corridor, including Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Sheffield & Manchester)
£19,000 (£21,800 OTE) Plus Company Car, Mobile Phone, Laptop
Do you have experience of selling photographic and digital imaging equipment? If you want to combine your passion for photography with an exciting career in sales, this could be the role for you.
Our client is a full service field marketing agency that has been trading for over 30 years. Working with many well known names such as Danone, Krispy Kreme and Starbucks, they are the first choice for field marketing. An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Consultant to join their team.
In this home and field-based role, as a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for promoting and selling products on behalf of Nikon, covering the M62 corridor. Bringing your passion for the photography industry to this role, your primary task will be selling the benefits of Nikon products to retailers. These will include large department stores, national and regional high street stores and mass market retailers.
Your duties will include:
- Visiting stores to ensure Nikon products are properly displayed and all products are fully understood by staff
- Training retail staff in the use of Nikon products in individual and group sessions
- Ensuring point of sale displays are impactful and as much space is gained for Nikon as possible
To be considered for the role of Sales Consultant, you will need proven knowledge of photographic and digital imaging equipment.
In addition to your thorough knowledge of cameras and digital imaging, you will be confident and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will also be computer literate and have a full, clean driving licence.
Although not essential, experience of selling photographic equipment gained within a retail environment would be an advantage.
This role will involve travel throughout the M62 corridor, including Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Sheffield and Manchester. As such, you may be required to make occasional overnight stays.
