Our client is a highly profitable and expanding retail garden centre business. They have a number of sites around the UK, and are currently recruiting for a horticulatural manager / plants specialist for a garden centre they own in Stoke On Trent.
As a company they like to promote from within, and also like to give their managers and supervisors the opportunity to make their own decisions rather than just work to a planogram / head office instruction.
If this type of freedom appeals to you, and you have a genuine interest in horticulture or related activities, then our client would be keen to talk to you. For this particular role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of plants and plant care including pruning.
Candidates with experience working in a garden centre or other large out of town unit will be of particular interest.
