Leading franchise retailer are searching for appoint an Area Retail Manager to be responsible for supporting their Retail Operations Manager in the overall management of the UAE territory across 13 stores. You will be responsible for 2-4 stores in your region and will be responsible for improving the commercial performance of the UAE territory by monitoring performance versus last year/budget, understanding market conditions and suggesting how improvements should be made, taking action.
You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the UAE territory with the opening of new stores, developing all UAE territory managers within your allocated area to become more retail focused and in turn, better leaders.
Key Performance Areas:
-Ensure all stores are following the key merchandising principals
-Study key data reports to create a comparison between current performance and last
year's sales figures.
-Monitor stock value to ensure approved percentage values
-Identify required price revisions
-Monitor monthly sales of stores within your remit
-Ensure annual training calendar is adhered to
To be responsible in the role you will current be operating as a "big-box" store manager/area manager in a high volume, fast driven environment. Arabic would be advantageous for the role but is not a prerequisite. There is a competitive tax free package on offer for the right candidate.
